GPS Sync is a native macOS application developed by Koray Bırand. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what data GPS Sync collects, stores, and shares — which is essentially nothing.
GPS Sync does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry. Your videos and GPS tracks never leave your Mac.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
None of this data ever leaves your device.
GPS Sync uses the network for one purpose only: to load Apple Maps map tiles for the route view, through Apple's MapKit framework. This is handled by macOS. GPS Sync operates no servers of its own, performs no cloud sync, and sends none of your files, GPS data, or personal information anywhere. Map‑tile requests are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Aside from Apple's own MapKit (for map tiles), GPS Sync does not integrate with any third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
GPS Sync does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
